  1. Go to The Source June 2003 - Smart Water Fund projects
    • Outline the Smart Water Fund projects that relate to water recycling.
    • You will now be able to develop a water recycling project for your school or local area. Work in groups of five to do this.
      • Brainstorm ideas about recycling water in your school or a location in your local community.
      • Record all your ideas about how your scheme can be achieved.
      • Outline the materials that will be needed.
      • If possible, get some costings for your project.
      • Describe what the recycled water will be used for.
      • Outline the possible economic, social and environmental benefits of your project.
      • Where possible, take photographs and create maps and diagrams to illustrate your proposal.
      • Present your project to your class as a model, and annotated visual display or a PowerPoint presentation.
  2. Conduct a class debate on the following:
    'That recycled water is a valuable resource'
